Luis Sinisterra left Leeds United to join Bournemouth on loan little over a week ago
Luis Sinisterra blew a golden chance to fire Columbia joint top of their World Cup qualifying group alongside Argentina and Brazil.
Sinisterra was forced to settle for a place on the bench against Chile, just as he did when Columbia took on Venezuela last week. Los Cafeteros boss Nestor Lorenzo brought the winger on midway through the second half - a move that ultimately backfired. Speaking post-match, Lorenzo rued his side’s lack of ruthlessness in front of goal. He told reporters: “I am calm because of work and because I see the future. Not because of today’s game or because of the result. We came to win and we are not going to celebrate a draw, but the way the game happened it adds up.
