LoveIsland bombshell Adam Collard's return sparks warning from Women's Aid
Charity Women's Aid has issued a warning to ITV following the recasting of former Love Island contestant Adam Collard.
Now, the charity has spoken out again, with their head of communications and media relations, Teresa Parker stating.: "In the 2018 series of Love Island, we saw Rosie rightly call out Adam for his unacceptable behaviour, which included gaslighting and emotional abuse. "Producers must make sure there is support for contestants throughout, and intervene if relationships become unhealthy or abusive."
This includes support on how to cope being filmed 24/7, what being on the show will actually entail behind the scenes, support offered to contestants' families while in the villa, and even proactive aftercare support on how to deal with trolls and adapting to life once the show has ended. Upon leaving the show, Adam dated Zara, 25, for eight months, and they even moved in together, before they split in February 2019.
