The gunman who walked into a bank in Louisville and shot and killed five people livestreamed the massacre on his Instagram.
Louisville Metro Police have released more details about the deadly shooting that took place at Old National Bank on Monday morning on Monday livestreamed his attack on Instagram, police said.
After opening fire on a conference room, Sturgeon then returns to the building’s front lobby and sits down, waiting for police to arrive. Chief Gwinn-Villaroel did confirm that the weapon he used was purchased legally at a gun dealer in Kentucky. ‘He purchased the weapon used on this tragic incident on April 4,’ she said.
Another eight people were injured in the massacre. University of Louisville Hospital trauma surgeon Dr Jason Smith confirmed that four victims are still hospitalized, but only two remain in the intensive care unit.
