First Michael Edwards, now Julian Ward? The Mailbox reckons there's trouble afoot at Liverpool. Also: Wales are a bit sh*t; and early shouts for a post-World Cup move.
I’m glad they’re likely to be knocked out. They’re just wasting a spot at the World Cup. Just because they are there, it does not make them one of the best 32 in the world. Italy? Norway?
They are a poor side who were lucky to be at the World Cup and from a footballing perspective, won’t be missed. Iran fully deserved to beat them and bear in mind that England beat Iran 6-2! The next Aleksandr Golovin or Gilberto Silva are waiting to be signed, my early shout would be Saudi Arabia’s goalkeeper Mohammed Al Owais or Tunisia’s tough tackling midfielder Aissa Laidouni.
