Loose Women's Jane Moore says coronation 'pomp' has 'no place any more' - do you agree?
Jane Moore has claimed the "pomp and ceremony" of royal traditions "has no place" in today's society. The journalist and broadcaster was speaking on Loose Women today as the panel discussed King Charles III's coronation on May 6.
She added: "I'm going to put it out there that we might have a King George, but it will be in a very diminished setting; it's going to get lower and lower and be low-key by then." Perhaps unsurprisingly, Linda disagreed with Jane's views, calling her "party pooper", reported the Daily Star. Sioux_Duncan replied: "Absolutely not. I'm going shopping." However, Amanda_watch said: "I am looking forward to it. Its history in the making and something that reaches throughout history."
