Now Ms Truss has banned her spin doctors and other aides from attending the Cabinet – meaning they cannot accurately convey what happens in the meetings that decide the fate of the nation.
Communication is not everything. Substance is more important. But the Prime Minister’s attempts to make her case to the public have been so cack-handed that any good she does is at risk of getting interred with the bones of her Government.
