A major Leeds road has been closed with a cyclist rushed to hospital with a head injury after being hit by a van.has been closed following the incident at 10.06am today . The road closure is currently on the bend beside the GIPSIL - Archway Resource Centre, pending an update on the cyclist's injuries.said: "At 10.06am today , police received a report of a collision involving a van and a bicycle in Roundhay Road, Leeds.
"The male cyclist was taken to hospital with a head injury. A road closure is currently in place pending an update on the man’s injuries." Traffic data site Inrix said: "A58 Roundhay Road in both directions closed, slow traffic due to accident between Gledhow Road and Spencer Place . "Road was closed at around 10am this morning." Reports suggest diversions have been put in place for the duration of the closure.Map shot of the road closure
