Ohio State linebacker Steele Chambers is developing into a playmaking linebacker and showed it against Rutgers.
Before Saturday, Chambers hadn’t had more than seven tackles in a game since Ohio State played Maryland in 2021. That day, he also notched six solo tackles, which was then his career-high.
“Going over the defense, just understanding how to be a better linebacker outside the scheme, that was really big for me,” he said. “I didn’t know what to do afterwards,” Chambers said. “I haven’t had a ball in my hands for two-and-a-half years or something. So, I just ran to the sideline.”
