It is understood the clan began with patriarch Tim, who is believed to have fathered children with his own kids and even fathered children with his grandkids.

His wife June was born from a brother and sister relationship and had seven children with him - Martha, Frank, Paula, Cherry, Rhonda, Betty and Charlie. At the time, reports said they were living without plumbing or running water and residing in squalid sheds, tents and caravans. They had around 20 dogs and younger family members didn't even know how to use a toilet, toothbrush or toilet roll.

But by the time police and welfare workers discovered their existence, the couple had both died.
Tim is alleged to have raped his daughter Betty, who has 13 kids, since she was 12 years old. Betty was convicted of four counts of perjury, one of lying under oath and one of perverting the course of justice and given 14 months in jail.
