I enjoyed your half page of letters concerning the Jan. 6 hearings. I find it incredible that even after all the evidence that has been shown, some readers...

Readers can’t understand why others don’t believe the evidence presented at the Jan. 6 hearings; offer tips about inflation; worry about the changes in the Republican Party; and discuss the failure of the high-speed rail project in Texas.

Apparently our president and representatives are finding it hard to find a quick solution for this country’s inflation problem. It is also apparent they may have never taken Economics 101. I’m confident that the reasonable majority will vote to stay in the U.S. — and that Texas would be better off without the small minority who would vote otherwise.I’m up late tonight, doing paperwork. I’m moving my savings out of Texas-based banking institutions. In economists’ language, it’s called “disintermediation.”
