Just once I would like to see the A’s ownership say anything close to “We want to be great for a long time” as Warrior owner Joe Lacob proclaimed.

In reality, the price range for induction cooktops is similar to that for gas stoves, and, for those on a tight budget, a portable, countertop induction unit can be purchased online for approximately $75. I replaced my gas stove with an induction cooktop last year and my energy bills have gone down, not up.Climate change, caused by burning fossil fuels, provides plenty of fire-related “drama.” Frankly, the less “drama” in my kitchen, the better.
Environmentalists should drop whatever they are doing and focus on not letting PG&E hobble the solar industry in the name of “fairness.”
