In the 103rd General Assembly there appears to be a movement to combine the Senate Veterans Affairs committee with the Senate state government committee.
This is a mistake. Veterans deserve the attention given by a special committee. Our nation is defended by less than 1% of our population. Our nation's defenders deserve to be ensured that their concerns are being addressed at the state level.Michael P. Peck
