Lego said it is going to spend $1 billion to build a factory in Virginia. The new facility is expected to create more than 1,700 jobs.

The Danish company said Wednesday that the new factory would be situated in Chesterfield County, Va., which is outside Richmond, and employ about 1,760 people.
