It's going to be a rainy day
Friday is set to be grey, wet and miserable in Leeds but there is some hope on the horizon with brighter conditions forecast over the weekend.
The forecast for Leeds on Friday is one of patchy cloud turning into an overcast outlook followed by longer spells of rain. The weekend outlook for the city is more positive with some sun expected on both Saturday and Sunday.The full Met Office forecast for Friday in Yorkshire said: "Patchy cloud around to start on Friday before becoming more widespread with showers breaking out across the area. Longer spells of rain then developing mid-afternoon. Maximum temperature 19 °C.
In Leeds it will be cloudy start in the early hours before becoming overcast with some light rain showers between 7am and 9am. Lighter cloud return until noon before thing take a turn for the worse again and those showers come back at around 3pm.
