Leeds United could send young midfielder Sean McGurk out on loan to get some valuable experience, according to reports. The Sun's Alan Nixon has suggsted the 20-year-old could be allowed to leave on a temporary deal in January.
McGurk did feature in an EFL Trophy match last season, playing an hour of the 3-0 defeat to Bolton Wanderers almost a year ago. Farke is still waiting for the first of his international travellers to return. The Welsh trio of Ethan Ampadu, Joe Rodon and Daniel James play their final match tonight and could be back at Thorp Arch as soon as tomorrow.
Patrick Bamford, Ian Poveda and Joe Gelhardt, by contrast, have barely played at all in recent weeks and will have faced far more testing returns to work this week.
