Third-placed Ipswich Town are in hot pursuit of Leeds United in the race for promotion
The Championship has paused for the final international break of the season, with Leeds United, Leicester City and Ipswich Town locked in an absorbing title race. The Whites made it 19 home league matches unbeaten on Sunday, beating Millwall 2-0 to move to the top of the table.
Whites boss Daniel Farke, whose side return to action on Good Friday when they travel to Watford, said: "It's not important where you are after 38 games. We can be proud of what we are doing but we want to be in a good position after 46 games. For that, we have to win many, many points." As for Ipswich, their crunch clash with promotion rivals Coventry City will have to be rescheduled next month. The Tractor Boys were pencilled in to play the Sky Blues on Saturday, April 20, - their third to last fixture of the season - but that match will have to be rearranged after City made it through to the FA Cup semi-finals.
