Leeds United face two away fixtures following the international break and here is how their average attendance at Elland Road compares so far to their Championship rivals

Leeds United's recent run of form means Daniel Farke's side occupy a playoff spot during the current international break. The Whites have won three of their last four league matches, with consecutive home victories over QPR and Bristol City leading the team's rise up the table.

Leeds supporters have kept the faith on the back of a desperately disappointing campaign last time out which ended their three-year return to the Premier League. Farke was tasked with an overhaul of the first-team squad over the summer, with the 49ers Enterprises takeover also eventually confirmed. Relegation has only led to a slight drop in attendances at Elland Road, with United already hosting six Championship fixtures. So far, this has translated into an average crowd of 35,338 which is second in the division only to Sunderland. The Black Cats have enjoyed the backing of 41,640 fans at the Stadium of Light on average so far, although their most recent home match ending in a heavy derby defeat to Middlesbrough.

Leeds return to action after the international break with two away assignments, with Farke facing a return to Carrow Road as the Whites face Norwich City on October 21. This clash with the Canaries is followed by a midweek trip to Stoke City, before the Whites return to home soil against Huddersfield Town on October 28.
