Los Angeles Department of Transportation officials on Tuesday announced the Wednesday morning closure of Laurel Canyon Boulevard between Mulholland Drive and Hollywood Boulevard from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
In a public statement made via Twitter, LADOT announced that Laurel Canyon Boulevard will be closed in both directions to prepare for heavy rain expected Wednesday and Thursday. The closure will affect northbound traffic starting at Hollywood Boulevard, while the southbound closure begins at Mulholland Drive. LADOT said the closure will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Wednesday. The closure could possibly last longer.In preparation for heavy rain, Laurel Canyon Blvd will be CLOSED in the NB direction starting from Hollywood Blvd.
