PennDOT says lane restrictions will be between York and Lancaster counties this week.
Weather permitting, this work on the bridge will be performed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. starting Monday through Thursday.Drivers are advised there will be lane restrictions starting Monday evening along on the Route 30 bridge between York and Lancaster Counties for a bridge inspection.
Weather permitting, this work will be performed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. starting Monday and continuing tthrough Thursday. The right lane and shoulder will be closed on both sides of the bridge with the left lane remaining open. Only one direction will be restricted at a time, according to PennDOT. During the lane restriction, road crews will measure stresses to the bridge due to weight and movement by installing strain gages.Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews..
