Lancashire woman Laura Nuttall who inspired Peter Kay's public return dies from aggressive brain cancer
Laura Nuttall, from Barrowford in Pendle, died this morning following a battle with incurable brain cancer. Her family confirmed the tragic update via social media.
She was then told she had eight tumours in her body and started a treatment course in London, while also ticking multiple items off of her bucket list. This included fishing with Paul Whitehouse and Bob Mortimer, meeting Johnny Marr and watching Fleabag being performed live on stage. Now, less than a year after graduating, Laura's death was confirmed by her family. In a post on Laura's Twitter account, her mother Nicola said: "I'm heartbroken to share the news that we lost our beautiful Laura in the early hours of this morning.
