A Lanarkshire community group is in the running to be named Scottish Men’s Shed of the Year – with an online public vote now open to determine the winner.

The free download features the latest breaking news and exclusive stories, and allows you to customise your page to the sections that matter most to you.Carluke Men’s Shed treasurer Tom Kennedy said: “We’re over the moon – the men just can’t believe it and this is huge recognition for all of our hard work over the last four years.

The Carluke group is up against the Men’s Sheds of Banff, Macduff & district and from Carse of Gowrie near Dundee for the title, awarded by the Scottish Men’s Sheds Association. Voting is now open online at https://scottishmsa.org.uk/vote-for-your-scottish-mens-shed-of-the-year-2023/ until Sunday, October 29, with the winner being announced at the association’s national gathering and AGM next month.
