“Providing ice accessibility opportunities is a huge priority for our team. We can’t wait for everyone to get on the ice with us soon.”reflect an increase, but Lakewood Planning & Development Assistant Director Dave Baas said the city -- for the first time in a while -- will be including the Lakewood Heights Boulevard rink’s programming in its recreational booklet.“There are challenges within anything,” he said.
If there’s a theme to the added programming, Baas said the idea is to focus on development related to toddler skating, figure skating and hockey. “We’re beyond privileged to take Winterhurst Ice Arena to its next chapter,” Sinkewich said. “Like countless others that call Winterhurst home, we absolutely love this facility and what it represents in our community.
