Lake District chippy's F-bomb response after fish labelled 'far too greasy'
A Lake District chip shop owner launched an expletive-laden response to a diner who described his fish as “far too greasy”.
Kev has left dozens of mostly positive reviews on the site and did reserve praise for the “friendly assistant”. He was also happy to hear of a nine minute wait which he took as an indication of freshly cooked fish.However, the owner, who signed off with a polite ‘Regards Gary’, was angered by the negative elements of the review and launched into an expletive-laden response in which he branded Kev an “ignorant t***” and clumsily told him to “stick you opinion”.
“Fish tasted okay? Really Thanks it's as fresh as you can get. Did you ask for very lightly battered? Obviously not as we do it as most people like it battered but try not to be too heavily battered.
