Updated numbers of COVID-positive patients in county hospitals were not immediately available. As of Saturday, state figures showed 1,229 such patients being treated in county hospitals, with 143 of them in intensive care. As of Monday, the seven-day average daily rate of people testing positive for the virus in the county was 10.1%, slightly below the rate from a week ago.
