A deputy has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after crashing their marked SUV in the Santa Clarita area
Following the collision near the intersection of Pico Canyon Road and Southern Oaks Drive, the deputy was reported missing from his vehicle. Thefound the deputy's marked SUV first and eventually found the deputy.
Deputy Carlos Lopez was found about 10:20 p.m. Friday, LASD Deputy Brenda Serna told the Los Angeles Times.PREV. COVERAGE: The search is on for a missing deputy who was last seen in the Santa Clarita area. Lopez is a member of the department's Special Enforcement Bureau. He was taken to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital for treatment of a possible head injury and released a short time later.
