Kyle Busch has some experience when it comes to recovering from an injury and has some advice for Chase Elliott
During Chase Elliott’s recuperation period, the 27-year-old driver conversed with Kyle Busch who suffered a broken right leg and a fractured left foot in 2015in a NASCAR Xfinity Series crash.and said Elliott’s leg injury is more like his foot break where plates and screws were installed.
“It’s just not easy to jump right back in and go,” Busch said. “Even in my fifth week when I won at Sonoma, I couldn’t walk afterwards it hurt so bad. “When you’re in a race car you’re hitting the brake pedal and you’re pushing that. You’re pushing load through all of those joints down through the brake pedal. It’s going to be an uncomfortable scenario for him for the next little bit. It wasn’t always pleasant with the plates and the screws for the whole year until I got them out. I walked out of the hospital, I was like “Damn! I feel good. This feels like a brand-new foot.
