“We’re so happy to be able to host the second annual KSAT 12 Pigskin Classic for all of South Texas to enjoy High School Football in the Alamodome!” said KSAT 12 Vice President and General Manager Ashley Parker.was the first of its kind in San Antonio with six teams playing in a triple-header to kick off their high school football seasons.
In 2022, thousands of fans cheered in the Alamodome as some of San Antonio’s best high school football teams battled down to the finish with the victors scoring a total of only five points more than their competitors in all three games combined. The excitement didn’t halt at halftime as the school bands took the field.
