“If you have to go to school and endure that, you really have no choice but to skip school and start focusing on something else. So I'd run home from school, sit in front of my computer and make songs and make demos, and watch fashion shows and music videos, and focus my whole life into my room and into my future, because I hated my present.
Believing in herself was challenging, Kim admits, and early on in her journey and her career she created a ‘superhero’ alter-ego who helped her with her confidence. “I was always afraid to get help… if you can do therapy and if you can try to work on your mental health with someone, asking for help is not a bad thing”
