Amir Khan has spent £100k on the case so far
has revealed he will call up his old rival to tell his side of the story.
“I am not surprised that he is upset over what happened. Maybe [it is hypocritical] because he is still happy to fight against Conor Benn [who has also tested positive for banned substances]. “The amount of money I have spent on this case, I must have spent over £100,000 just to find out how this has happened.
Khan also insisted he was not told of the results of the drugs test until around seven months after the Brook fight, which took part in February 2022, despite UKAD insisting they told him in April that year. When asked by Goldstein, Khan told talkSPORT: “I got told about it about six months after [the fight]. I did not get told in April, I knew nothing about it.”
