Two people were taken to hospital after the incident
A KFC in Nottingham was forced to temporarily close due to a street fight outside, leading to seven people being arrested in connection with the incident. Staff at the restaurant in Woodborough Road, Mapperley, confirmed they were shut for around two hours while police investigated the incident on Saturday afternoon .
Joe Higgins, who lives opposite the KFC, said he did not witness the fight but saw the police cordon afterwards. "The car park was cordoned off, no sooner did I see it and it was all over," said the 54-year-old."Police were gone by about seven O'clock. We've not had something like that before, it's out of character. I thought nothing of the cordon, I thought they were just pulling cars over.
"I saw two police cars and a van. It's worrying for us." Amanda Drage, 49, who lives nearby, added: "I'm surprised but I'm not really worried, I don't think it would involve the public."
