Former presidential counselor Kellyanne Conway slammed Vice President Kamala Harris and the Biden administration over its global performance on Wednesday, urging Republican presidential contenders to step up their foreign policy game.
Conway aimed her criticism at the country's first female vice president, claiming Harris and other Biden officials had embarrassed the United States on the global stage with its highly criticized withdrawal from Afghanistan two years ago."'Commander-in-chief' [Joe] Biden has been reckless and feckless in foreign affairs and his deputy, Kamala Harris, has embarrassed us on the world stage," Conway said in an opinion piece for Fox News.
Harris has faced backlash over her performance on the world stage, including for a speech she made in Ghana in March that critics called a"word salad." She has also been criticized for her role in immigration and the U.S. border with Mexico. She has also taken trips to Europe and other African and Latin American countries since being elected.
Conway praised Trump's foreign policy tactics and she questioned what candidates outside of Trump would do on issues such as the war in Ukraine, China's growing power, and the U.S.'s fentanyl crisis.
