The reality star is 'excited to be performing in Liverpool'
The panto will star reality TV royality and model Katie Price as wicked fairy Carabosse. Comedy star Bippo will play The Castle Clown with Britain's Got Talent finalist Lucy Kay as The Fairy, and Andy Brennan as the Queen 'FiFi of Fazakerley'. It's said to feature 'amazing 3D effects' with music from a live band.
Based on the classic fairy tale Sleeping Beauty, the panto plot focuses on a beautiful princess who is cursed by the evil Carbosse . Thanks to The Fairy, Sleeping Beauty falls into a deep sleep that can only be broken by a handsome prince.Speaking about visiting Liverpool, Katie Price said: "I am so excited to be performing in Liverpool. I love the city and can’t wait to bring my kids along with me and make some amazing memories.
The performance is set to include dance routines, stunning scenery and beautiful costumes. It's not just for children either, and can also be enjoyed by adults. Producer, James Shone, said: “I am thrilled to be bringing our production of Sleeping Beauty to my hometown of Liverpool. It's a wonderful show and we have such a strong cast to deliver this modern pantomime version of this sensational magical story. There is something for everyone in this year’s production - the whole family will enjoy it!”
