Reality star Katie Price "should be jailed", according to Tory MP James Wild - who is calling for tougher punishments for people who keep breaking driving laws. He spoke out after Katie, who has been banned from driving six times in ten years, did not go to jail earlier this week for her latest driving offence.
Mr Wild, the MP for the area where Katie was caught, argues that stronger rules are needed for people who keep getting in trouble for driving - and that, if someone breaks driving laws frequently, they should serve a sentence behind bars. Katie Price, a mum-of-five, has had a string of driving mishaps since 2003, including speeding, using her phone while driving, driving while banned or uninsured, and drink driving. Her most serious offence happened in September 2021 when she was caught near her Sussex home after her BMW flipped over.
