Comedian Kathy Griffin revealed to her followers that she has been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, further claiming that the ordeal began five and a half years ago, right around the time she posed with a fake bloody, severed head that bore a striking resemblance to then-president Donald Trump.
Soon after the photograph was posted, CNN ended its deal with the comedian. Griffin had co-anchored the Channel's New Year's Eve special alongside Anderson Cooper since 2007. She was later replaced by television host Andy Cohen. Further, a reported 25 theaters canceled scheduled shows with Griffin after the post and its fallout.Now, Griffin claims to be suffering from PTSD.
