Kate Middleton's stunning outfit was specifically chosen out of respect from Princess Anne
On Wednesday Kate Middleton joined Princess Anne for a joint engagement where both ladies attended an appearance at the Royal College of Midwives and Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists headquarters in London.
Speaking exclusively to OK! Modern Colour Theorist and Author of Hello Rainbow Finding Happiness in Colour, Momtaz Begum-Hossain, explains the symbolic choice of this colour. "Beige is a ‘middle-ground’ colour, indicating that Kate doesn’t want to be the centre of attention. This explains why she wore it when she was out on her first public engagement with Princess Anne.
Sadly for the fashion fans out there, the outfit is a dress which isn't available to buy just yet, however the jacket alone retails for a whopping £350. "We’re in the season of spring meeting summer and a fresh lemon colour rather than beige would have still allowed her to maintain a formal presence but meant her inner positive energy would shine."
The Alexander McQueen Ivory coat dress was previously worn back in 2015 for Princess Charlotte's christening and again in 2016 and 2017.
