Kate Garraway was missing from Good Morning Britain on Thursday and her replacement Ranvir Singh sent her well wishes, which sparked concerns with her fans. Ranvir stepped in to host alongside Richard Madeley, who recently took over from Ben Shephard.
They revealed her absence is because she is feeling a bit sick and has lost her voice. On today's episode , Charlotte shared that Kate was supposed to be on the show amid just being named one of Britain's 50 most influential women by The Independent. Kate usually presents the show on Thursdays but when she was absent, a fan expressed their concern on Twitter, posting: "Missing @kategarraway on @ gmb Hope ur feeling better soon xx ."
When Kate came back to Smooth FM after his death, she said: "Hello everyone, I am so glad to be back at Smooth. It's just been brilliant to hear the great music again and to see everybody. And thank you for all your really lovely messages, it's so kind of you for you to think of me and also share all your thoughts."
