Kate Garraway has revealed her husband Derek Draper has been rushed to hospital following her "extraordinary" recognition at Windsor Castle last week, where she was awarded an MBE.
Derek’s life dramatically changed after contracting Covid-19 in 2020. He spent 13 months in hospital fighting for his life and was left needing round-the-clock care. Kate has continually issued updates regarding his condition, offering fans another insight on Sunday . Issuing a further update on her husband, the star continued: "Tomorrow Derek is back in hospital and of course the daily struggles go on - but the fact that he was able to be part of Wednesday is to be treasured & can’t thank everyone in the @NHS and all around him who love him for making it possible.
