On Monday morning, Russia launched four"kamikaze drones" into Kyiv, cutting off electricity in hundreds of villages across Ukraine. At least eight people in Kyiv and Sumy were killed after energy-generating facilities were hit according to Ukrainian officials.: "Russia is hunting for all energy-related facilities," Ukraine's Deputy Interior Minister Yevhen Yenin warned.
"They want to cause chaos in the energy industry."that left 19 dead. One of the drones reportedly bore the words"For Belgorod" in reference to the Russian border city that has been bombed several times since Russia invaded Ukraine. Russia blames Kyiv for the attacks on Belgorod. The drones are reportedly Iranian-made.
