The slip-and-fall came after Biden’s surprise meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelensky in Kyiv on Monday, ahead of the first anniversary of Russia’s brutal invasion of Ukraine. On Wednesday, Biden tripped up the stairs to Air Force One at Warsaw Chopin Airport on his way home from Poland.In March 2021, the clumsy commander in chief took another tumble while walking up the stairs of Air Force One ahead of a trip to Atlanta, and White House deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre later told reporters she too was nearly toppled because it was “very windy.”with folks speculating about what may have caused the tumble.
“It was raining there when they landed and those metal stairs get very slick,” one observer wrote whileJoe Biden took a tumble while boarding Air Force One two years ago.It wasn’t immediately clear what caused the fall on Tuesday, or whether the aide was injured.
