A woman was arrested and charged after police say she tried to kidnap a 4-year-old girl at a San Antonio Walmart, according to KPRC 2′s sister station, KSAT News.
– A woman was arrested and charged after police say she tried to kidnap a 4-year-old girl at a San Antonio Walmart, according to KPRC 2′s sister station,The mother of the child told police that she was shopping with her daughters when Vega allegedly grabbed her shopping cart and started pushing it while her 4-year-old was still sitting inside. The woman’s other daughter reportedly had her hands on the cart but Vega pushed the cart out of her hands, according to KSAT News.
The affidavit stated that the woman started screaming at Vega who didn’t respond. A store employee reportedly intervened and the mother was able to grab her child from the cart.Vega told the woman, “just because she’s yours doesn’t mean I can’t take her,” and then walked out of the store, according to the affidavit.
