JungGunJoo Dishes On His New Historical Romance With ShinYeEun
, and Jung Gun Joo will play three “flower scholars” who rent rooms—and are each hiding their own secrets.
Explaining why he was drawn to “The Secret Romantic Guesthouse” and his role in particular, Jung Gun Joo recalled, “One of the genres I’d always wanted to try doing is historical dramas. And if you look at the character of Jung Yoo Ha, he’s strong-willed, but he also has a lot of [emotional] pain. If you look at him closely, he has a very soft side, and I really wanted to portray that aspect of him.
As for how he’s feeling ahead of the drama’s premiere, the actor confessed, “To be honest, I do feel worried, but I’m looking forward to it even more. Please give the drama lots of love and interest.”
