A Los Angeles judge ruled that Kevin Spacey must pay nearly $30 million in damages to the TV company behind Netflix’s “House of Cards” for his alleged sexual harassment on set.

In his challenge to the finding, Spacey attorney Jonathan E. Phillips argued the arbitrator improperly weighed evidence outside the scope of his powers in coming to the conclusion. “Here, [Spacey] fails to demonstrate that this is even a close case,” the judge said, according to the report.
