There are a number of ways to quantify Burrow's final two games, first in the Peach Bowl and then on Monday night in New Orleans against the defending national champions. His five touchdown passes against Clemson gave him 60 on the season, or one more than LSU had compiled across the previous four seasons combined. He accounted for 14 scores in the two wins, just one off Akron's season-long total as a team.
He's joined by a number of fellow LSU standouts, including wide receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson. Clemson linebacker Isaiah Simmons was a similar no-brainer even after the Tigers' struggled to slow down Burrow and the LSU offense.
