“They’ve got talent all over the place,” Jets defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins said. “Obviously, they haven’t been operating on the level of success that they would like to. … They have all the tools. It’s on us to make sure this isn’t the week that they can get that thing rolling and start putting up points and making those type of plays.”
A win would make the Jets 5-2, which would be their best start since 2010, the last season they went to the playoffs. It would also set up two big home games against division rivals over the next two weeks, when the Patriots and Bills both will come to MetLife Stadium.
