Airlines issue advice on how early you should get to East Midlands Airport for your summer flight
Ahead of the spring and summer getaway season, passengers of Jet2, TUI, Ryanair and Easyjet have been issued a 'two hour' airport rule. The airlines have provided advice on how early passengers should arrive at the airport for their summer flights.
Meanwhile, TUI, which also operates from EMA in Castle Donington, states on its website: "Standard check-in opens at least two-and-a-half hours before departure for short and mid-haul flights. And at least three-and-a-half hours before departure for long-haul flights. Arriving any earlier than this won't mean you can check in or pass through security early."EasyJet has stated that bag drop at the airport will open two hours before most flights.
"Rest assured, in the event of flight disruption our dedicated Operations teams are always working hard behind the scenes at our UK-based HQ to get you on your way as soon as possible.", reports Birmingham Live.
