The frequently-impersonated actress is best known for her comedic roles across both film and television, particularly in the American Pie franchise, the Legally Blonde film series, and the HBO anthology series The White Lotus.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Soon after it aired, Jennifer Coolidge took to Twitter to react to the sketch with effusive praise for the show and Chloe Fineman, whom she called an "exceptionally brilliant impressionist." While congratulating the show's new cast members, the comedic actor revealed that she once tried to make it on Saturday Night Live as a cast member, but was unsuccessful.
From there, Coolidge began garnering interest in more dramatic roles, including what may go down as her career-defining role in The White Lotus, a performance that allows her to show off her daffy side in addition to her acting chops. On HBO's acclaimed anthology series, Coolidge plays the quirky Tanya McQuoid, a troubled rich woman who, after her mother recently passes away, heads to the resort chain seeking inner peace and discovery.
Due to the events of The White Lotus season 2 finale, Coolidge likely won't be returning for another season of the anthology series, so she will have to turn elsewhere if her moment is going to continue. She also stars in Netflix's The Watcher, which was also renewed for a second season, and has a supporting role in the Jennifer Lopez-starring romantic-comedy Shotgun Wedding, coming to Prime Video next year.
