Jayson Tatum: I Love Our Team. I Love The Guys That We Got.
Jayson Tatum was one of several current and former NBA stars to attend the premiere of"Point Gods" in New York City on Tuesday night. While walking the red carpet, Tatum was asked about the rumors his Boston Celtics might be in the mix to trade for Kevin Durant.
Tatum didn't address the rumors specifically. However, he did say he likes what the Celtics have done this offseason. Boston traded for Malcolm Brogdon and signed Danilo Gallinari.Tatum earlier deflected questions about his input in a potential trade. Tatum said that trades aren't his call, so he doesn't worry much about reported rumors.When asked about what it would be like to play with Durant, Tatum praised his former Team USA teammate.
“I’ve played with him during the Olympics,” Tatum said of Durant. “He’s a great player. That’s not my decision. I love our team. I love the guys that we got. I don’t know if that report is true or not.”
