And NBC might be cancelling his TV show. All this after he suffered burns from a gasoline fire late last year.
Leno reveals he was subsequently in another accident while riding a 1940 Indian motorcycle and suffered multiple broken bones., Leno appears to take it all in stride, despite suffering two severe accidents back to back:"That was the first accident. OK? Then just last week, I got knocked off my motorcycle. So I've got a broken collarbone. I've got two broken ribs. I've got two cracked kneecaps.
According to the accident-prone star, he was suspicious his motorcycle was leaking fuel after smelling gasoline so he pulled down a side street, where he was clotheslined off of the bike because somebody had strung up a low wire with no alert flag. It's not clear where Leno was riding, nor who strung up the wire, but he doesn't seem too concerned about it now.
As for why we're just now learning about the accident, which was over a week ago, it's because of all of the previous attention from when he got burned."You know, after getting burned up, you get that one for free," Leno said."After that, you're Harrison Ford, crashing airplanes. You just want to keep your head down ."
Despite the injuries, Leno says he's back at work in his garage this week. Here's hoping for another speedy recovery, and fewer random accidents. Sadly, the seventh season of
