CLEVELAND, Ohio - Allen recorded a career-high 33 points and 18 rebounds in the Cavaliers’ overtime win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. This was Allen’s 31st double-double of the season.Bickerstaff called Allen one of the most dependable guys on the Cavaliers’ team, and it’s one of his best attributes.
“Coming up in this league, I feel like I wasn’t the most dependable,” said Allen. “I’d go out and have a double-double one game, then another game I’d have five and four. It was something I wanted to expand on to be more reliable, whether it’s going for a double-double every night or being consistent on the defensive end. It was a growth I wanted.”
