Michigan gubernatorial candidate Ryan Kelley was released on bond Thursday just hours after the FBI arrested him for his alleged involvement in the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021. The latest hearing updates:
President Joe Biden called the Capitol riot on Jan. 6 a"clear, flagrant violation of the Constitution."
Many questions remain, Biden said, including"who was responsible and who was involved." The President added that he will not"make a judgment on" who he thinks is responsible. Speaking on the House floor hours before the hearing was to begin, Taylor Greene said there are many questions the committee has yet to investigate or share information on, and encouraged its members to release full surveillance footage captured inside the Capitol Building on January 6, 2021.
"I think the American people deserve that while they have to watch and go through this big, cinematic production tonight, and carrying on for weeks and weeks and weeks," she continued."And the American people pay for it, by the way. The American people deserve to see all, all the video surveillance, not just the little cut and pasted pieces that then January 6 Committee is going to show tonight.
